Introduction
I just had a brain wave People say its impossible To connect 1 dongle to 2 computers or two laptops because of the security software on a dongle well today i have proved them wrong
So Guys If You ever go on holiday or to a hotel with no wifi But You have one dongle and two computers or two laptops Heres How To connect to the internet With one dongle 2 PC's
Things you need
Note:No Modem Or Router needed in this tutorial
Mobile broadband dongle
Ethernet cable
2 Computers Or 2 Laptops
The how to tutorial
Heres a tutorial On how to connect two computers with one mobile broadband dongle
So obviously your gonna need the items above
1.Plug dongle into computer or laptop of choice
2.connect to the network provider your on and then plug the ethernet cable Ethernet port to ethernet port
3.Go To Network and Sharing Centre click On Change adapter settings Go To your mobile broadband dongle Right click it go to properties Go to the sharing tab tick all the boxes
And select to where you would like to share the connection to Share it to Local area connection(Ethernet cable) So then Now To Next step The next step is on the other computer
4.So your on the other computer on where it usually says weather your connected or not it should say no network access You can fix this Go to network sharing center press the red X Then it should start diagnosing your connection if anything comes up about local area connection make changes as admin then it should refresh The connection then You have Internet access Open browser and Away You Go!
Just To Clarify most people say it halfs the amount of MBPS you have on the computer thats sharing the connection this is not entirely true only a little less but really doesn't make a difference
